Two lumber production facilities in Elkhart are scheduled to close this fall. The Elkhart Truth is reporting the closure of Banks Lumber will result in the loss of 140 jobs. The company had operated in Elkhart for 80 years, providing wood products to the manufactured housing, mobile office, modular and recreational vehicle industries.
